WHAT IS EDC?
EDC: What Does It Mean?
EDC, short for Every Day Carry, refers to the assortment of items that individuals consistently have on their person, typically stored in pockets, bags, or pouches. These are the essential items that you gather just before heading out, items you consider indispensable.
These are the things you find indispensable and carry with you daily, such as keys, wallet, phone, wristwatch, jewelry, pocket knife, and perhaps something for fidgeting, like a challenge coin – collectively referred to as your EDC, at least in my case.
Consider the generations before us, like your father or his father. What did they carry daily? My aim is to emphasize that we maintain a tradition of carrying essential items. These items are crucial tools for navigating the day, whether at work or during leisure activities.
Within our EDC community, sharing the intriguing items we carry is encouraged. This allows us to appreciate each other's choices and enjoy the diverse array of tools and gadgets. It's also an opportunity to convey that knives serve as tools, not weapons, and responsible adults comprehend this distinction.
